Meet Our Founder
“We're in the business of saving lives through safety education, communication and organization.”
~ Joe Viramontez, ICS4Schools Founder
Joe Viramontez knew from his experience as a fire captain that Incident Command Systems save lives. He also knew he could help others become life-savers with the right training in how to respond to an emergency.
That’s why Joe founded ICS4Schools in 2007. He applied time-tested ICS principles to the unique needs of schools in the Bay Area. His ICS expertise helped clients stay prepared and comply with local, state and federal emergency response regulations.
Joe turned his full-time attention to growing his brand of emergency response preparedness for schools after his retirement in 2011. His systematic approach to education and training prepares schools and school districts to respond to nearly any emergency incident on campus.
